A key piece of information that EDDC refuses to release, yet is relying on to justify its office move, will be discussed at a tribunal next month. Sidmouth resident, Jeremy Woodward requested under the Freedom of Information Act, a copy of the Knowle buildings survey but the request was rejected. Mr Woodward then referred the request to the Information Commissioner, who ordered the council to release the report, but EDDC has appealed the ruling. Mr Woodward told the Pulman’s View From Series this week: “The Information Commissioner wants EDDC to make public the report on the state of the Knowle buildings - because they say it was produced by external, independent consultants.
