Maximum Temperature: 16 Deg C (61 Deg F) Tonight: Rain affecting Orkney will edge up into Shetland this evening, A drier spell will follow tonight with another band of rain crossing the Isles later in the night. Minimum Temperature: 9 Deg C (48 Deg F) Wednesday: A wet start for Shetland otherwise it will be a bright day with a mixture of sunshine and scattered showers. Cooler with fresh to strong southwesterly winds, Maximum Temperature: 13 Deg C (55 Deg F) Outlook for Thursday to Saturday: Dry, bright on Thursday with gales developing, severe in the evening as heavy rain sets in. Severe gales and rain early Friday morning then sunshine and scattered showers.
