A lawsuit was filed in Montgomery Circuit court today against ALDOT, their North Eufaula Avenue project, and the expenditure of $1,000,000 in Alabama tax dollars that could have been Federal dollars. The incoming Alabama State Auditor is representing homeowners and parties with a public interest in the median. In addition, the Southern Environmental Law Center filed an updated brief, regarding the North Eufaula Avenue four-lane project, in the Middle District of Alabama Federal Court for consideration by Judge Myron Thompson.
