A little information on the Paleo diet. Paleo is used in quotes because it is a time period, Paleolithic, not actually a diet - thats where marketing came in. Theres certainly some advantages over the standard western diet, although the typical avoidance of grains can lead to higher total cholesterol levels and the rates of heart disease arent greatly reduced, so for those who are at risk or already have coronary disease, or have had a cardiac event then a whole foods plant based diet is more sensible. Have a watch.
