A little message for our skydivers. I guess you guys are probably feeling pretty nervous, excited and keep having surges of adrenaline right now. When our 2013 skydive took place everyone that did it said that they were glad that they did and that it was an experience of a life time. Most actually wanted to get straight back on the plane and do it all over again!! (Crazy people) We have two incredible people jumping again today who took part in our last skydive Maes daddy Matt Fox and Matt Broadbent. I have maximum respect for all of you and think that you are all very brave. Today you will conquer something which most people only dream of. Please in those moments of doubt remind yourself why you are doing this.... All for the love of Mae. Our little girl who has a dream of walking and to be just like other children. Mae would love to stand and splash in muddy puddles, to run around in the garden chasing her brothers, to exhaust all of the rides at the fairground like all of the other children and much much more!! Most of all Mae would love to be independent I.e to stand at the sink to brush her teeth and to do things for herself. Since Maes surgery she is already able to do so much more than she has ever been able to. With each day since SDR her quality of life improves. Mae is now able to stand assisted for longer periods than she has ever been able to, She can feed herself cereal, her speech has improved and she is trying hard at many things that were impossible before surgery. With each day that passes Mae works so hard to get closer and closer to her dream of being able to walk. For Mae to be able to continue her intensive therapy is so important. With each therapy session, each physical progression and every step that she takes please know that you have played a huge part in making it happen for her. Thank you so Much (Maes Mum)
