A little thought for the day. Often we become so overwhelmed by the big tasks or ideas that we never start them. Sometimes all that is needed is doing something even for a very short time. And doing that little something frequently. American poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow translated Dantes Divine Comedy this way. It was his habit during the boiling of his coffee-kettle to work, at a standing desk, on the translation. As soon as the kettle hissed, he folded his portfolio and did not resume that work till the following morning. By devoting ten minutes a day, over the years, the lovely work grew to its completion.
