A lot of people know that Ive been very vocal about my feelings towards Kool Herc and his approach to discussing the history of Hip Hop. However, I feel that its only fair to still hear his point of view and fairly cross reference the information provided by all pioneers of Hip Hop. I dont proclaim to be the end all to the discussion and I encourage everyone to support this event and continue the dialog and research for the sake of the bigger picture. Thanks to Kevin Powell for taking steps towards the spreading of hip Hop knowledge.
