A major point of contention for passing a new immigration bill is a "penalty" or requiring undocumented workers to pay back taxes since entering the country. While republicans first affirmed the necessity of recooping tax revenue, it appears that this concep is all but removed from discussion. If a bill is proposed that does not include a program dedicated towards establishing a tax record for new Americans, many republicans in the house have threatened not to support it. How do you feel? It is an issue with strong logic on both sides: On one hand, the tedious chore of trying to uncover years of spending with no income records for millions of Americans is time and resource consuming, yet we have years of tax evasion expounded by millions of children who enjoy tax funded institutions at no cost. politico/story/2013/06/gop-immigration-supporters-face-back-tax-dilemma-92124.html
