A majority of you will not read past the see more portion of this and I understand why. I make every attempt to avoid projecting my frustration over social media but I am hoping what I have to say may influence just the small few who may read this entirely. How many actually take the brief moment to think about what they are saying, how it will affect people outside of themselves. The world fascination with social media is amazing, but how many people realize the great responsibility that comes with this. When you post that picture do you ever take a moment and think it might trigger someone, or have adverse reaction for one of those people you call your friend. In the last 72 hours I have seen simple communications turn so negative, that volunteer efforts of my company turn into questions of loyalty and discrimination. Now it has evolved into loss of business, all because before people decided to make attacks they did not consider the collateral damage. Add to this the growing question of loyalty from those who stand so firmly on unconditional support. At what point does loyalty out weigh personal gain? Many dedicate endless time to support that which they are passionate about yet those who reap the benefit of tireless support fail to show basic consideration and support. I challenge everyone, take a moment, think about the affects of what you post, what you do, and what you say. Responsibility is taking the hard right over the easy wrong.
