A man has died after being found in surf off Old Bar Beach near - TopicsExpress

A man has died after being found in surf off Old Bar Beach near Taree this morning. Emergency services were called about 7.40am today (Friday 11 July 2014), when surfboard riders found the man unconscious. He was taken to the beach and CPR commenced; however, he died at the scene. It’s believed the man lives locally and is aged in his 70s, but he is yet to be formally identified. A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner. Police are urging anyone with information about this incident to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or use the Crime Stoppers online reporting page: https://www1.police.nsw.gov.au/.
