A man says I have a great new plan which needs to sign up 6 million people in 6 months, I created a web site which can process thousands of applicants per day. Questions: 1. How long will it take to get to 6 million subscribers? 2. What is the chance that this plan will reach its goals in time? Answer to #1: Since thousands per day means less than 10,000 (or he would have said tens of thousands), and a month is no more than 31 days, that means no more than 310,000 subscribers per month. In six months, this means 1.86 million subscribers can sign up or in excess of 18 months for 6 million subscribers. Can you figure the answer to #2?
