A massive thank you to everyone who has signed, shared and been involved in the petition to #BringJoshHome - the response has blown us away. We have now smashed the 100,000 signature mark! Josh is a 13 year old boy with a learning disability and severe autism. He is currently in an assessment and treatment unit in Birmingham - a 5 hour journey away from his loving family in Cornwall. The family have started a petition calling on the NHS in Cornwall to #BringJoshHome and make sure he gets the right support and services near his family. Josh is one of 185 children and young people with a learning disability in assessment and treatment units, often many miles from loved ones. His family have done incredible work to bring issues like this to the attention of the wider public, so lets start with Josh and see how far we can go.
