A missing Luftwaffe transport plane is finally found: Instead of finding the Ju-88 dive bomber they were expecting, divers in the Black Sea have discovered a Ju-52 tri-motor, a type used extensively as a transport aircraft by the Luftwaffe during the Second World War. The fate of this aircraft and its nine crew members had remained a mystery since it was reported missing off the Soviet coast near Odessa in 1942; a belt buckle, a shaving brush and a pair of boots were among the items found inside.
