A movie like #PK can release and appreciated only in a place like India. Makes a mockery of religions (Hinduism in specific and the others in generic). A tolerant nation that we are, no doubt it will go on to amass gigantic collections and turn out to be a bumper hit in the days to come. Call me wotever but it was saddening to see the Lord I have been made to visualize sitting atop the majestic Kailash mountains right from my childhood who we bow down to, running helplessly scared and humiliated from a loo to under the chairs being stamped and kicked by other mortals. Raising valid questions pertaining to blind faiths is always a good thing to do but the makers should have been particularly concerned not to humiliate the core beliefs like they did. If we worship idols we do, you have a problem in dat its fine but dont mock us for doing so. We are used to seeing Ganesha atop a mouse, might seem unreal but if not anything else we find it cute. Coming to the movie, it was a movie with a lovely first half and a OK second half with particularly the climax in the recording studio seemingly unreal because of the pace at which things started to fall in place. Btw who says pakistan is a rogue nation, of what we see in the movie they ooze love, care and good will from all over their surface ;) Happy Viewing #PK and for those who feel not so good about the movie theres another hashtag doing the rounds on FB and its #boycottpk ;) Adios :D
