A mum says: Im currently a fulltime sahm with 2 children, a school aged child and a young child that is at home with me fulltime. My question is, does anyone else feel like they are not contributing to the family income by staying home full time? We have outweighed the pros and cons for myself to go back to work and it came down to it not being worth it for myself to return to fulltime work with childcare costs, fuel etc. Hubby has said he is more then happy for me to return to work when our youngest is in school and wants me to be at home for as long as possible until then. I was even considering starting up a cupcake business from home as I have a love for baking to bring in an extra income. I would love to know if any other Narangba mums and dads have been in this pickle. Thankyou.
