A new member of the guards starts of as a student guard and works his/her way up the ranks, giving promotions by the good work they do - right? so why is; Sgt McCabe still only a Sgt in the force? he is the best knowing Garda Sargent in the entire force of An Garda Siochana in Ireland. His bravery is without doubt (remarkable) to say the very least, he put his own life on the line to insure the public received equal justice and fairness and not one rule for one and another rule for another. If our justice minister really wants to show the public reform in her unfit for purpose dept let her start by making Sgt McCabe assistant commissioner/top job @ the table of Garda Management? its that or a new police force altogether as An Garda Siochanas game is up they are incompetent and stuck in a culture of corruption and cronyism in the entire force, the chain of corruption had had to snap somewhere and Sgt McCabe is the person we the public have to thank for standing up and saying this is wrong. Sgt McCabe was stonewalled everywhere he went with his complaints, he was bullied, cut off, isolated, shunted to many to mention so to cut it short, his life was made hell on earth in his brave efforts to expose that culture of corruption he was witnessing. Until an injustice hits a person personally one never understands how if feels too be called a liar and trouble maker and not believed due to power and corrupt money - Welcome to Ireland were we will have to import justice from the European Courts of human rights in Strasbourg, all victims of injustices at the hands of the Irish Justice system should take a (Class Action) against the Irish State, boycott the Irish Justice System, tell them to keep their corruption we are taking our business elsewhere. !!
