A new trailer for the most anticipated second Rurouni Kenshin live action film Rurouni Kenshin: Taika-hen (Kyoto Inferno) has been revealed. Takeru Sato reprises his role as Kenshin Himura. Actor Tatsuya Fujiwara joins the cast and plays as the assassin Shishio Makoto. With his appearance and motive to destroy Japans government, Kenshin fights hard to protect the nation. Aside from Sato, actresses Emi Takei and Yu Aoi will still play their original roles as Kaoru Kamiya and Megumi Takano respectively, as well as Aoki Munetaka, who portrayed as Sanosuke Sagara in the 2012 original film. Together with Fujiwara, Yusuke Iseya, Ryunosuke Kamiki, Maryjun Takahashi, and many others were added as cast members for the movie. The manga, which was then made into an anime series and now adapted into a live action film series, was written by Nobuhiro Watsuki. Directed by Keishi Otomo, Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Taika-hen (Kyoto Inferno) is slated for an August 1st release in Japan.
