Heres perspective for ya Me to my co worker this morning : I hate Mondays. Where did the weekend go. I want to be home in bed still wha wha wha.... Enter 1st patient this morning Me: its some cold out there this morning Pt: it sure is and the only coat i can find right now is my summer one Me: oh gees youll have to dig out your winter one Pt: yah i just have to figure out which box its in and where i left it Me: did you place it in storage? Pt: no I have my stuff everywhere my boyfriend I was living with became abusive and took all my belongings, so Ive been living out of my truck since the summer but its getting pretty cold lately Ill have to figure out something soon Me: wow Im so sorry to hear that Pt: ya but its all about perspective I fought cancer 3 times and Im still here so i just remind myself things could be worse Me: can you excuse me for a sec (So I could dry my eyes and regain my composure) So remember people shit could be worse This morning I woke up alive, with a roof over my head and me and my children are healthy and safe..
