A parent asks our group: I keep reading and looking up stuff and honestly, I trust this community the most, and would really like peoples opinions. I feel like every time I get what I think might be the problem figured out, more stuff pops up. My daughter is 2, she has great motor skills, she is EXTREMELY active (running circles around everyone all. day. long.). She loves fast spinning, deep pressure, bright shinny loud stuff. We have issues with her eating rice and pasta of any kind. She finger paints with veggies AND fruits. It takes A LOT to get her attention, but once we get it, she will generally do what we want her to do, until she gets side-tracked and then shes right back to whatever she was doing before. She has a hard time understanding things like the difference between take this toy to your room or go to your room. She was dx with a speech delay and is going to be getting speech therapy starting on the 13th. I am also looking into possible OT for SPD as she has been unofficially dx as a seeker/craver. I, however, went on a website and did an unofficial assessment and got a unofficial dx of mild PPD. Im so confused. Any insight or advice anyone could give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
