A parent asks our group: Theres no one in my area who can(or will) diagnose my son with SPD so we dont have any interventions. My son has this habit of swatting or grazing people and saying he just wanted to feel their scarf or hat or whatever it was. This happened at school with a little girl, and a parent at a party who insisted my son was rude and stormed out. When he is overtired he jumps on us, the couch, and boings from place to place, will also spit in my husbands face (but never mine). As I said his ped and school are like talking to rocks, so whats the best way to handle this behavior?
