A poem by my friend Barry Eglington :) Dont be daft ! An eye with millions of membranes, veins and muscles to see, an accident, created thee. The brain. This big piece of nerve cells covered in jelly with all its mind boggling ways, Was put together in accidentle days. Your spinal cord or The central nervous system with thousands of nerves you know. Works by accident, but what a show ! Our bodies and muscles made up of fibers and cells, move apparently ,the way we want them to, Accidently ! The eye, the brain, the Spine and body, All work together Accidently ? We are all amazing accidents you and me, that reproduce the exact same accidents for all to see. No sign of change, no springs or wings just little accidents, that look like human things. From dust we came ! Everyone agrees on that . From the Big bang with evolution or made in Gods hand. To the dust we will return. you must understand. But who gave us a spirit, a mind and a soul, what part of this dust is in control ? Are these things really made from a dust that we cannot see? or are these things all Gods gift, to you and to me. You see everything works in order you know, the sun and the moon never go slow, they always appear right on time when we need to sleep or arise and shine. From the top of your head to your very last toe, Your a walking miracle. What a show. Nothing by accident. God made you real fine. When we all work together this must be a sign. Wanting to help each other with no greed or pride, this type of work makes us feel good inside., these are the things that make us smile and laugh. We happened by accident ? Dont be daft ! Your one of Gods miracles.
