A police officer pulled up to 2 citizens in the street... While the police officer makes a request , one of the citizens reaches into the police officers squad car, and assaults him, and attempts to strip the officer of his gun. In the scuffle, the gun is fired, and the citizen is struck through his thumb. The citizen retreats, and the officer, after being attacked... Realizing he has been the victim of a crime, has the right and responsibility, to apprehend the citizen. He exits his squad car, and pursues the now, criminal. The criminal initially attempts to elude the officer, then turns... And the officer instructs the criminal to stop, and get on the ground. The officer, now fearing for his life, as the criminal approaches him, fires his weapon. The criminal stops, the officer stops firing. Then, for whatever reason, the criminal begins charging the officer again, totally disregarding his orders. The officer again fires his weapon at the still charging criminal. The officer again starts to strike the criminal with gunfire, until the criminal is hit with a series of shots that prove fatal, to the criminal.
