A preliminary study and a final piece that I did in 2013 for my senior exhibition Retrospect. This piece was titled Sanitation.., about our fear of germs and constant need to chemically sanitize our hands, our counter tops, our bodies, our windows, our surroundings..when in fact it has been scientifically proven that getting our hands in dirt improves our mood/health and exposure to germs strengthens our immunity. On the contrary, the cleaning chemicals are detrimental to our physical and environmental health.
