A question from our inbox: I had my baby April 2014 & had to get a c-section because my pelvic bone was not opened enough for my baby to pass through. I was at 39 weeks when my doctor induced me, he said it was because of my last two prenatal visits my stomach hadnt grown from the week before. With it being my first pregnancy I went through with getting induced. They gave me the pictocin at 7am and the nurses checked me all day saying I was slowly dilating. Around 6:30 that afternoon a nurse said I was at an 8 but my doctor came in later and said I was at a 6. He said I needed a c-section at 7:30 pm. He came to check on my baby the next day & I asked could I try delivering vbac next pregnancy and right away he said no & said he would only do 2 more c-sections for me. I felt heartbroken.. I dont know if its me but I felt robbed of a natural birth because later I found out my doctor left on vacation after he did his follow up checkup the day after I had my baby. Now I want to be able to have a VBAC for my next pregnancy but I want to know do I sound like a candidate, is there a waiting period before we try having a baby again, & how do I find a VBAC friendly doctor in my area? #ICANSupport
