A question that all Americans that care about the welfare of every human being need to answer… Today close to 40% of all uninsured in America are Hispanic & 20% African American making up for more than half of all people uninsured & a full 40% plus are caucasian with a small amount of Asians as well… A large proportion of the insured are covered by various State Medicaid type plans while the rest are just uninsured… Both of these groups primarily use the emergency rooms for all their health needs making them unusable for the purpose for which they were built . The ERs of our country have become the primary care doctors for 50,000,000 plus people. Now the issue needs to be divided as follows. First off how many of the 50,000,000 can understand/read/figure out the concept of The Affordable Care Act? We have people sadly who simply cant understand the concept of coverage, deductibles, co pays etc. Then we have people who simply dont understand english, cant read or write english & some illegally in the country will be frightened to even think about government health insurance for fear of being deported. Further along we have people who have been cheating the system over the years utilizing the state plans.They will be expected to begin to pay X amount for coverage in the future and simply wont bother to sign up. Lastly we have several million who will feel nothing will happen to them because they are young & strong & have no need for the coverage. if these young folk get into accidents they know the ERs will take care of their needs & since they are young, they will not get sick, so why bother. As I see the problem the Affordable Care Act simply cant work properly as it is presently designed. Based on how the plan was designed, passed into law & upheld in the high court it is so full of loop holes & problems etc. that it will after a year or so of operation simply implode. There is simply zero chance it can work unless the Congress of the United States of America changes the law of 900 plus pages into a simple one page law saying in the simplest of terms & language that Medicare is now available for all ALL AMERICANS. The cost of the program will be a X % increase in the income taxes all Americans pay along with a slightly larger % increase in the income tax of all American corporations with more than 10 people. The cost will be raised or lowered depending on ACTUAL claims paid to private hospitals & private doctors along with the administration costs paid to government workers to keep the plan operating. All employees of health insurance companies will be granted the right to apply to the Federal government for employment & if there are no longer jobs available to them a special fund will be allocated to re-train/re-educate/re-emply them as well as an additional one year unemployment insurance if needed.Lastly the plan would not be granted for any non U.S. citizen or citizens who are in the U.S. legally under student or employment agreements. Any non citizen will be granted only true emergency care in order for them to make it to their home country for further treatment. The above is the only way that true health care can be had for all American. The Allowing the % of taxes to move up or down based on honest claims paid will always keep the plan solvent & allowing for private doctors & private hospitals will always allow for people who want more than Medicare to purchase it at whatever the insurance companies feel they would like to charge thereby allowing the special people who feel they are special to buy whatever coverage they want & can be 100% exempt form paying the additional taxes…. https://facebook/MrRealityfromtheleft
