A question to my friends on the left side of the political aisle who do not believe that we have a government spending problem and believe that we can fix our fiscal problems with higher taxes. Currently, the federal government is borrowing every two months more than the combined ANNUAL profit of the largest 100 businesses in the US. So even if we were to tax the 100 largest businesses in the US at a 100% rate, we would still have a deficit of about $ 400 million dollars per year. Do you believe this is sustainable even with higher tax rates on everyone?
