Little League (9/10) Longmeadow 7, Easthampton 6 — Easthampton led 4-0 after two innings, but Longmeadow (2-0) scored three in the seventh then held off a two-run rally in the bottom of the inning to beat Easthampton in District 2 tournament pool play on Saturday. Will Robbins was 3 for 4 with two RBIs and three runs, while Nick Jolicoeur was 3 for 4 with a run and an RBI in the loss. Amherst 7, Easthampton 0 — Ben Oates and Nate Mills combined on the two-hit shutout as Amherst (3-1) beat Easthampton (1-2) in District 2 tournament pool play on Sunday. Alex Irizarry went 3 for 4 with three RBIs for Amherst. Ryan O’Leary and Will Robbins each had a hit for Easthampton.
