A quote a former Bush administration official who regretted U.S. involvement in the Iraq conflict. “The only reason we went into Iraq, I tell people now, is we were looking for somebody’s ass to kick. Afghanistan was too easy,” the anonymous Bush official confessed in the book. $2 trillion spent, an estimated 1 million civilians casualties, and almost 37,000 U.S. troops deceased or injured. Oh well, with such a good reason to go to war, who is counting.
