It turns out the generator fuel pump overheated and went dry. They let it cool off and primed it. It is working now but its a sign that the fuel pump is going bad. They said it might not happen again for six months or it might happen tomorrow. They ask what I wanted to do. Hmmmm...let me think....traveling with a dog...do I live with a generator fuel pump going bad. I dont think so. They have hookups here and are letting me spend the night. The new generator fuel pump is being installed in the morning. Like today, I will sit in a comfortable camp chair in the air-conditioned Camping World with my trusty companion and let the divine appointments come to me. I am a camping world junkie – so I really need to watch my impulse spending tomorrow. If you have to break down, this is the place to do it.
