A reader asks: Hi, im after some advice - i have an 18 month old boy and i have recently just had a baby girl who is now 4 weeks old. We have moved house in august and my little boy took 2 weeks to settle into his own bedroom after various attempts to get him out of our bed at night. However since we have brought out daughter home he will not sleep in his own bedroom - we have tried everything from sitting on the floor holding his hand at the cot to letting him cry. We have also tried putting the babys crib in his room empty hoping this will distract him to sleep if he thinks shes sleeping in there too. We have tried so hard not to make him feel pushed out and he loves her to bits but i just dont know what else we can try. Any advice will be a massive help just so we can get him settled sooner rather than later as its been 4 weeks already! Thanks in advance x
