A robot that looks like a droid out of Star Wars or Dr. Who may soon be deployed to roam around your neighborhood, observe and gather data, and try to predict where and when criminal activity will occur. Hopefully more advanced models wont bark orders at you, threaten to arrest you for filming it, or fire projectiles at you for holding a wallet, watering the lawn, or walking down the street with an umbrella.
