A seminar was given by a Team of Professors of Eastern University on “Prospects of Higher Education for College Graduates of Saleha School & College” at Saleha School & College in Hazaribag, Dhaka on 18 August 2014 at 12:30pm. The team was led by Professor Dr Nazrul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Business Administration of Eastern University. Dr Jahurul Haq, Chairperson of Department of Law, EU, Mr. ASMG Faruk, Director of Admission Department of EU were also in the team. More than 200 HSC students and 20 faculty members of Saleha College attended the seminar. The seminar was chaired by the Principal of the College Mr Nazrul Islam. Hazi Rabiullah, Chairman of Board of Governors of the college was present as Chief Guest. Mr MA Khan Mojlish Chapal, member of the Governing Board of the College was also present as the Special Guest. The Chief Guest of the program kept proposal to the Eastern University authority to organize such seminars in future at Saleha College to improve the knowledge of the students and the academic standards of the college. He emphasized the learning on ‘Creative Question Setting’ for the teachers and English for the students to face the present challenge. Dr Nazrul Islam in his speech emphasized that students should prepare themselves from now to get admission into good university and for that matter they should focus more on IT skill, English Proficiency, and setting the vision for their career. The program was ended up with the refreshment for the students and lunch for the teachers of Saleha College.
