A six foot snake by the pool this evening. Out of the corner of my eye it looked like a twisted limb had fallen...and then the tail twitched. Rosie was playing ball with LH from the front porch, but normally she would be with me as I drive the cart back to its shed. Whew! By the time we shut her inside and went to check on what kind it was, it had disappeared. Im guessing rat snake, the latest incarnation of Sam Snake, but its circumference was the size of Danny Riebelings forearm! That is large, folks.
