As we count down to our final days, I want to take a moment to say thank you... To our viewers - you were always there for us and you truly appreciated having a local station. To our advertisers - you supported us over the years and made it possible for us to provide local news and programs to our region. To my NBC 40 family - you are the hardest-working and most dedicated group of people I know and you have done so much with very little. I have been with NBC 40 for 29 years - longer than anyone else at the station. I have had the honor of working with just about everyone who has passed through our doors, many very talented people who have gone on to achieve great success in this industry. I have had the unique perspective of being in the midst of this changing industry and being involved in NBC 40 as it has grown and developed over the years. I have made some wonderful friends and had fabulous opportunities. No words could really describe how I am feeling as we come to a close. I just wanted to express my sincere gratitude.
