A story is told of an eagle egg that fell out of the nest and rolled down a little hill into a chicken pen. The strange egg eventually hatched and out of it came a strange-looking chick, so different from all the other chicks. This little creature was actually an eagle, but it grew up without discovering its true identity It thought it was a chicken. Now whenever he saw bigger eagles flying in the sky it dreamt of how wonderful experience it would be to join them. But because it had not yet discovered that it was an eagle, it missed the thrill of soaring in the sky and for that matter lived as a chick until one day when this eagle saw a reflection of itself in water and immediately realized it looked like one ofthe eagle and not a chicken! It flapped its wing and all ofa sudden, there it was in the sky soaring. When you do not discover your dream of destiny and purpose in life, like that eagle, you will settle for mediocrity and perform far below your capacity and the very best Christ has endowed you with. Gods dream for your life is to be an eagle that would soar high to phenomenal heights and not to live like a chicken. You need only one purpose.
