A surface trough lies from the northeast of the state through the eastern interior with the coastal component of the trough lying through Fraser Island waters. The inland trough will move slowly westwards into the interior of the state during Thursday. A high pressure system located over the Great Australian Bight will move eastwards through southeastern Australian during Thursday before moving into the Tasman Sea during Friday and Saturday. An upper level trough will move north into the state on Thursday and should enter the central interior on Friday. Forecast for the rest of Wednesday Partly cloudy. Isolated showers and the chance of thunderstorms. Winds north to northeasterly 15 to 20 km/h tending east to northeasterly in the late evening. Thursday 31 October Partly cloudy. Scattered showers.
