A truly amazing week was had at SFU. Not only were the Batman movies shown, but, Batman himself came to campus!! Lenny B. Robinson did a presentation on Being Batman in Business on Thursday. On Friday he made an appearance as Batman himself! I am telling you guys, when the orchestra played and Batman walked in I felt like a little girl again. The grin was wide, (not as wide as the jokers) the energy was high, and a few tears were shed. Embracing who Batman is, is embracing the hardship, the struggle, and the strength that we all face every single day. Knowing that each time we get back up and we conquer our own jokers and see to it that we make each day more fantastic than the last!! And as the sun, that had been too afraid to show its face in this city, started to turn the black into grey, I smiled. Not out of happiness. But because I knew... that one day, I wouldnt have to do this anymore. One day, I could stop fighting. Because one day... I would win. One day, there will be no pain, no loss, no crime. Because of me, because I fight. =) Love Batman and wear Feathers.
