A wise man once said to me: “Justice, when the corporate faculties of people have been protracted plagued by an anomaly, often time, the anomaly itself becomes normal” I was young then, about 14years old and so couldn’t understand exactly what he meant. It sounded so anomalous for my small brain but I liked the sound of it-very anomalously classy. But today, looking at Nigeria and Nigerians (especially the younger generation) I understand fully what he meant. You see, the faculties of Nigerians have protractedly been subjected to the anomaly of a nation that should not have been in the first place, that the conception of dividing the country into what it should have been scares the hoot out of them. Well, here is a simple but profound and inviolate truth: A continues Nigeria after 2014 is a corporate affirmation and legalization of mass slavery into the hands of the few who have hitherto raped this nation of her human resources and grace (The Europeans), a complete sell-out of our God given rights to individualism and self-determinism. If by 2014 Nigerians agree to remain as one entity, then we vindicate the notion of the average European that the black man lacks the capacity for self-determinism. We are telling them, the British, that they were right and we were wrong to have fought back slavery. Fellow and Beloved Nigerians, We need to part ways, not because of our hatred for one another, but out respect for the rights of individual tribes, not out of or religious differences, but out of love for the African continent, out of love and respect for our culture and black heritage, out of pride as self-sufficient black men capable of charting the course of their continent. We need to part ways out of consideration for the Children yet unborn. Imagine the hell we live in today as Nigerians, then think of 20years from today, 50years and perhaps another 100years from today. Today the worst of Boko Haram/Islamic extremists is a rocket propelled grenade and nerve gas; what will it be tomorrow? While we in good conscience help the self-acclaimed elites in the name of leaders plunder the wealth of this country and ship it to their white, European masters, we need to think, not only of ourselves, but of the future children. Can you in good conscience, wish for your children, grand-children and great-grand-children to live in a country as Nigeria?
