A woman in Fargo, North Dakota, took the “healthy diet for kids” campaign to new heights last night. She became something of a local celebrity after she put out the word on social media that on Halloween, she would not give candy to any child she considered to be “moderately obese.” Instead, she planned to slip a letter into their bags to their parents, informing them that their child is fat and should be guided toward a healthier lifestyle. Some child psychologists say that could do more harm than good. But I bet it did give the kids a good workout. You can really work up a sweat throwing eggs, water balloons and toilet paper at someone’s house.
