A year ago today, I lost my best friend, lover, soul mate my husband. They say time heals. It does not when you lost a spouse who was and still is everything to you. I fell in love with Jim before I met him. You talk to people who play the game online and make you think that this person is ok. You meet that person and find out who they really are. My case if one of the few that was more than ok. It was right. Jim had his faults and flaws. We all do. But I was given by God, a man who loved me no matter what. And I him. We had a love story that you will never find in this day and age. And it still continues. I have signs from Jim that he was around and he comes to me in my dreams. I cry because I cant hold him, touch him or hear his calming voice. But I still have him on the voice message on the phone. And when I want to, I call home just to hear him and hang up. Ive been told that someday I will marry again. Ive been widowed twice and divorced once. What I am going through is no way the same when my first husband died. Lets say our situation was different and leave it at that. My pain today is new to me and its one that will stay until I take Jims hand and he takes me home to God. I am going to Largo which is on the other side of Tampa Bay. To St. Pauls United Methodist Church where Jims dad preached and both father and son are buried. Friends of mine will get me this morning and I will release 2 white balloons with our names toward the sky. To my beloved. We have been through more good times than bad. Our honeymoon was made every day. Your spirit have not left me and I see it where you leave me signs. Our love story continues even tho we are apart. But our love story will continue when you take me home. I love you and miss you. I talk to you and see your smiling face in my dreams. There will be no other after you. My love for you is strong. As your love is for me. Keep watch over me and when God is ready to have me home, I will take your hand and we will walk together on that Golden Road. Give my love to my family and to your dad for me. But most of all.. I love you more. Your bride loves you.
