ACTOR POLL: Please weigh in, film friends. I am very curious about this. I really like The Crow. I didnt expect to but I do. Its terrible what happened to Brandon Lee and I understand that this is almost certainly a horrible thing to say, but it bugs me that they didnt use THAT TAKE. You know the one. Yes its good that we dont make snuff films and this is probably a slippery slope not worth exploring but when i try to put myself in the place of Brandon Lees disembodied soul, I wish theyd used it. Nobody wants to see anyone die on film but there have been fatal films in wide release before now and really what better way could there be to honor someone who gave their life to the craft of acting than to celebrate his sacrifice? Theres no doubt it was an amazing shot. How do actors feel about this? Would you want your perfect death scene immortalized, if it was real?
