AGITATION AGAINST KABIMBA WONT STOP UNTIL HE GOES - GBM CAMPAIGN MANAGER The agitation by both senior PF members and cadres alike against Hon. Wynter Kabimba, the Secretary General of the party will not end because it is a genuine expression of a vote of no confidence in him. What has worsened the situation is the fact that he is being treated like the proverbial sacred cow by the President and the Vice-President who has sometimes called him his Boss. Kabimba may not be the last S.G. for PF as the position has been held by several others before him who have exited because of similar behaviour. The allegations leveled against Wynter Kabimba such as formation of parallel structures, formation of 4th Republic Party, putting the party into ridicule by saying PF is the most in-disciplined and corrupt and also harbouring a clique of tribalists which he can’t prove are so serious that they cannot just be swept under the carpet. Kabimba needs to face the disciplinary committee or even a tribunal because of the nature of the allegations against him which are much more serious than those which Hon. Given Lubinda faced. Kabimba’s arrogance and intransigency is what has culminated into the death of a cadre and serious injuries of others in Lusaka. Kabimba is being made bigger than the party constitution and the party itself by those protecting him when he has fallen out of favour by the larger majority. If the President and the Central Committee do not act decisively regarding Kabimba’s fate then the repercussions may be too ghastly to contemplate. As supporters of the party, we therefore make a passionate appeal to his Excellency President Michael Chilufya Sata as the ultimate authority of this great party (PF) to stamp his foot down and allow the party constitution to apply to everyone equally without treating others as sacred cows before more bloodshed is experienced. Kabimba is like a commander in the battlefield whose troops have vowed not to take orders from him and any sensible person will conclude that his battalion will be over-run in the end without much ado and that is what must be avoided at all costs in 2016 with Kabimba as Secretary General. No matter how much his make builders try to salvage him, he has fallen from grace of disgrace and is now a liability as far as PF is concerned.
