AGRICULTURE & FORESTRY: PRESIDENT MET ASEAN MINISTERS AND JAPANESE MINISTER --------------------------------------- President U Thein Sein held meeting with agriculture and forestry ministers from ASEAN, at Myanmar International Convention Centre-1, in Nay Pyi Taw, Yesterday. Also present at the call were Union Ministers, deputy ministers, deputy general sectary of ASEAN and departmental officials. In the afternoon, President also met a delegation led by Japanese Minister for Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Koya Nishikawa at the Presidential Palace in Nay Pyi Taw on separate occasions. At the meeting, they talked about technical assistance for agriculture, livestock breeding and forestry sectors of Myanmar, Japanese investments in Myanma agriculture and livestock and breeding, manufacturing of value-added finished wood products and more importing of agricultural, breeding and forestry products.
