AIDS cases were first documented on the news in the 1980s before I was even born. I cant understand how people back then could be so cruel & inhumane to people who were living with HIV & AIDS. The only positive note that I can share is that intravenous drug use has decreased within the majority of countries, governments have clinics with clean needle programs, there are safe drug rooms, & citizens in Prison are allowed to have treatment. This Worlds AIDS Day is different because, this time I read the reports from the UN, WHO, & the UNODC & I smiled for once, reading about Health & Drug Policy because, people do care
