Rev 12:11 The blood of Jesus is the final gateway (pathway) to unlimited triumph. This blood shed on the cross of Calvary is the last master card God uses to perfect our lives, and so to speak reconcile man unto himself. The Blood of the Lord is very unique and remains unpolluted; He did not commit any sin and so was empowered to manifest the supernatural saving power of God,uninterrupted by the devil. Blood is very important both in the spiritual, physical and the realms of darkness. “For it is the Life of all flesh: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls: For it is the blood that maketh atonement for the souls”. Leviticus 17:11 God hid life in the blood of Jesus and that was why in redemption, Jesus came to offer his precious blood on Calvary cross for the remission (cleansing) of all sins and to impart everlasting, winning life. It is an effective weapon necessary in this great battle of the supernatural, and is very much at the disposal of the believers; use it to secure total victory over the devil and his agents of darkness. “So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing his head, he gave up his spirit: But one of the soldiers pierced his side with a spear and immediately blood and water came out”. John 19:30, 34 The water that came out from Jesus blood after the death prophetically represents that spiritual cleansing water which God promised through Prophet Ezekiel to pour on the house of Israel for the wholesome cleansing of their sins and subsequent total divine restoration and healing. “Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean: I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols: I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you: I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh: Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be my people and I will be your God. I will deliver you from all your uncleanness. I will call for the grain and multiply it and bring no famine upon you: And I will multiply the fruit of your trees and the increase of your fields, so that you need never again bear the reproach of famine among the nations”. Ezekiel 36:25, 26, 28-30 The blood of Jesus has been used by God to purify sin – infested blood of Mankind in a calculated attempt to restore unpolluted fellowship with God: Remember sin breaks and interrupts fellowship with God. This spiritual decay makes the believer prone to satanic and demonic attack. Partaking of the blood of Jesus is very essential in the life of the Christian believers. The early apostolic Christians caught this revelation and participated in the daily communion of the blood of Jesus and triumphed over the works of Satan and had successful Christian lives. “And they continuing daily with one accord in the temple and breaking bread from house to house did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, praising God and having favour with all people; And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved”. Acts 2:46-47 Redemption came through the blood of Jesus and any man that gets hooked up or connected to this blood will easily overcome all the works of the devil and his Kingdom of Darkness. The blood of Jesus poured out on Calvary cross has transferred that overcoming power to everyone that believes the death of the cross; Jesus emphatically told us that all the works of darkness in our lives have been destroyed and buried on Calvary. “Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to the cross: Having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it”. Colossians 3:14-15 Friends, it takes the mystery of believing on the cross (the blood sacrifice performed by Jesus on Calvary) to secure ceaseless triumph over all the works of the enemies. The blood of Jesus took away all the powers, works and satanic influences on us and nailed them on the cross. When the blood came trickling down the cross at Calvary, it started destroying the chains and yokes of sin and works of darkness in the lives of believers. It gave us victory over the devil. “For this purpose, the son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil” I John 3:8 The blood of Jesus is a covenant blood that delivers hope, salvation and turns captivity around. It is the blood of covenant that made manifest the revelation of the joyful mysteries hid from the time past, of the glorious and unsearchable riches God ordained for mankind. “As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein no water is. Turn you to the stronghold, ye prisoners of hope even today do I declare that I will render double unto thee”. Zechariah 9:11-12 Colossians chapter one puts it better still; “Even the mystery which has been hid from ages and from generations but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the gentiles, which is Christ in you the hope of glory”. Colossians 1:26-27 God in his infinite wisdom has granted us access to this covenant blood to enable us defeat and secure complete victory over the devil and his hosts. With this dreadful weapon, you can overcome effortlessly in this great battle of the supernatural. The believer desperately needs the blood of Jesus to exercise dominion and power over the enemy; the blood establishes his supremacy over the devil and forces of darkness. It makes him sit in heavenly place of authority with Christ Jesus. “And hath raised us up together, and made us sit in heavenly places in Christ Jesus”. Ephesians 2:6 “For above all principality, and power, and might and dominion, and every name that is named not only in this world but also that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet and gave him to be the head over all things to the church”. Ephesians 1:21-22 The blood of Jesus is a speaking blood that intercedes and defends us against the accusation that Satan brings before God in the throne of grace. The blood of the Lord is in heaven speaking better things for us. You need to constantly plead and cover yourself with this redemptive blood of Calvary to rescue you from all the bondage/afflictions of the Kingdom of Darkness. “And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant and the blood of sprinkling that speaketh better things than that of Abel”. Hebrews 12:24 Friends all solutions to the problems of man are locked up in a spiritual warehouse in the throne of grace in heaven, where God holds sway: The believer needs to break through this seat of mercy to obtain divine solutions to his problems. The blood of our Lord Jesus gives the believer boldness and unrestrained access into this solution arena. “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need”. Hebrews 4:16 “Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus: By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say his flesh”. Hebrews 10:19-20 The blood of Jesus has not only given us redemption from all the works of darkness, but also power, wisdom, strength, riches, honor and glory. It has really made us Kings and priests to rule and exercise dominion and power over the prince of this world (the devil), and the Kingdom of Darkness. To remain continuously in victory, the Christian believer needs to participate in the communion of this overcoming blood of Jesus. “And they sung a new song, saying, thou art worthy to take the book and to open the seals thereof: For thou was slain and has redeemed us to God by the blood out of every Kindred and tongue and people and nation: And hast made us unto God Kings and Priests and we shall reign on the earth. Saying with a loud voice, worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength, and honour and glory and blessings”. Revelation 5:9-20 & 12 The blood of Jesus confirms our acceptance, and makes us the covenant children of God and members of the divine family of the commonwealth of Spiritual Israel. As a result of this spiritual adoption the Christian believers are covered by this covenant protection. “That at that time ye were without Christ being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ”. Ephesians 2:12-13 “Take heed therefore unto yourselves and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood”. Acts 20:28 Remember the devil has caused the Garden of Eden to be closed due to the sin of disobedience which led to the fall man. This entrance (gate) is being protected by the Angels of God: This tree of life connotes the abundant provision of blessings and miracles in our lives. However, it is of immense relief to note that the covenant blood of redemption of our Lord Jesus, gives to the believers, access or right to this tree of life and entrance into the beautiful city of God – the New Jerusalem, that beautiful city Jesus has gone to prepare for the Christian believers. It has regained all that Adam through the subtlety of Satan, lost through sin at Eden and delivers to us much better things and promises. “Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life and may enter in the gates of the city”. Rev 22:14 Finally, friends, take hold of this precious and Redemptive blood of Jesus to always triumph over Satan and his forces of Darkness. I encourage you to always plead and avail yourself with the overcoming blood of Jesus and remain victorious in this unending war. Prayer of Faith Heavenly Father, I realize I have been a sinner; I committed these sins in ignorance, but now I have heard your word, I believe your word of deliverance and life. Today, I confess my sins and promise never to go back to them anymore. Come into my heart (life) and save me unto eternity. Take absolute control of my life and glorify your name in me. I confess Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior. Wash me with the Blood of Jesus,set me free and transfer my name from the book of death into the book of Life;with my heart I believe in your righteousness, and with my mouth I confess that I am saved by the blood of my Lord Jesus.
