ALEXANDER CO., NC-- STILL LOOKING FOR OWNER 7/11 UPDATE: The account at Robinson Veterinary Clinic is under Holly Presley for Biscuit although we changed her name to Honey now. The tumor was removed on Monday but she is unable to hear. I dont know if this is permanent or temporary. The incision goes from inside of her ear and 4 down the side of her neck. I am putting Ottomax in her ears, she is on an antibiotic and she is receiving top care. She sleeps by me every night and sits in my lap every time I sit down. She licked me the other morning on the cheek. I am trying to teach her how to use the doggie door. She doesnt eat or drink much and seldom goes to the bathroom. The veterinarian did give me dewormer for her also and she took her last dose this morning. Is there anything else that should be checked. She goes back to the vet on July 21st to have her stitches removed and Ill have plenty of time to observe her and Ill discuss anything that doesnt seem good with the Dr Robinson at that time. Do you know of any groomer that would clean her up? She has been thru so much and my funds are depleted. I didnt have money for food this week for me (dogs had food). She just needs one good trim and she could be managed from there. Her mats were just so bad. Its is really odd that she didnt have any flea eggs on her, only 2 small ticks and wasnt really even dirty. She smelled bad and the tumor was rotting. I fixed her flaky skin and no more odor. Any ideas on a groomer that would help her out would be great!
