ALS/MND advocate Tony Papoulias and ALS Worldwide Co-Directors, Stephen and Barbara Byer, have been close friends since 2003 when they met at Tony’s home on the island of Samos in Greece. Tonys wife Annie and Stephen and Barbaras son Ben shared their experiences in Ben’s award-winning film “Indestructible”. Sadly, both Annie and Ben passed away from ALS/MND since the film debuted in 2007. The spirits of these two inspiring people live on in our combined efforts on behalf of thousands of ALS/MND patients around the world.
