AMRAPALI LIBRARY INAUGURATED ON THE 7TH SEPTEMBER’2014 As elected the first Chairman of the Amrapali Library (Run and Managed by Amrapali Cultural Foundation), I,(Shanker Kumar Karjee, Patron Amrapali Cultural Foundation) feel honored and thanked the managing committee of Amrapali Cultural Foundation for this remarkable gift, to elect me the first CHAIRMAN of the AMRAPALI LIBRARY. This Amrapali Library is located at Saurabh Vihar,New Delhi a showpiece of South Delhi urbanized village turned Jaitpur Badarpur constituency of Delhi. This library is buzzing with confident students, professionals, home makers and others, who come to access information in a relaxed environment and to network with like-minded people. We will make this pilot project Amrapali Library a state of art library with easy to use technology that will enable you to check out and return books. The Amrapali Library( Run and Managed by Amrapali Cultural Foundation ) was inaugurated on the auspicious day of 07th September’2014 (Sunday) at Durga Mandir,J Block,Saurabh Vihar,New Delhi by: 1. Dr.Satyapal Singh,IPS,Ex Police Commissioner, Mumbai and Member of Parliament from Baghpat(Uttar Pradesh).He is a great writer, thinker and he donated his famous best seller book INSAANIYAT KI TALASH ME AADMI and also promised to gift the VEDAS to the Library. 2. Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, MLA-Badarpur Constituency and recipients of best MLA AWARD .Bidhuri Ji had won elections in 1993 and 2003 from Badarpur constituency in South Delhi. He announced to make AMRAPALI LIBRARY ROAD with full concrete and announced the donation of Rs.51,000/- for the AMRAPALI LIBRARY 3. Dinesh Raghuvanshi a National Hindi Poet is our third distinguished guest is considered to be among the best eight poets in India. He is better than the best of Laughter Champions of India. Although his father died prematurely when he was young so he was brought up by his mother. He feels grateful to his mother for whatever he has achieved in life. As a mark of respect to his mother he has written 11oo poems on the topic of Mother in Hindi. It is a literary marvel and deserves to be enlisted in the Guinness Book of Records. When he recites these poems, the whole audience is reduced to tears. It is a sight to see the audience wiping tears with their handkerchiefs. The famous Russian author Maxim Gorky wrote the book Mother which was instrumental in bringing Russian Revolution. 4. Shri. Dinesh Yadav, IAS, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Faridabad our fourth distinguished guest is not only a great and able administrator but also a great thinker and writer too.
