AMV Womens Volleyball loses in game-opener by: Chariz Danielle Saño The AMV womens volleyball team lost under CFAD, 25-9, 19-25, 20-25, in the 2014 Goodwill Games opening game at the Quadricentennial Pavillion last September 17. Ending the game with a five-point deficit, the AMV WVT failed to claim the lead after tying third set at 17 while playing neck-to-neck against CFAD. AMV finished the first set with an easy 16-point lead win however, CFAD womens volleyball team bounced back in the second set as they pulled off a run that froze the AMV team to 19.
