ANC SHOULD NEVER FORGET Ronald Ozzy Lamola... What the ANCYL Task Teams should have done first By Mj Wa Azania For the past few months we have witnessed a political revival within ANCYL branches all over the country, through public lectures, media platform and face to face conversation from the former Ancyl deputy President Ronald Ozzy lamola. Though those who are bitter and greedy have decided to interpret the situation based on their political growth but it takes a born Leader to stand up and work for the organization using your own resources. The Public lectures had served a great honour to the growth of Anc and its future and has managed to impact the mentality of many young people in regard to the state of the economy in South Africa. When we speak of rebuilding the Ancyl this issue of Public lectures should have been the first priority among all the things, just to examine whether young people really understand the role that they should play. The National Task Team, provincial task teams and all the appointed leaders of structures should have priorities political workshops, political lectures and branch educational intervention first that dividing young people by giving and taking of power unnecessary. We are now heading towards Ancyl conference without a political lecture by the NTT but they have a gut to still want to lead an organization which they dont understand its direction. People have been appointed to lead the Ancyl as Task Teams but we have seen them within a period of Five months being appointed as Members of Parliament, some became MPL abandoning the focus of rebuilding the Ancyl. We thought the tendency of using Ancyl to rise to the hidden ambitions is gone with the generation of Mduduzi Manana and Stella Ndabeni kanti we were wrong. Those who understand the current political state of South Africa will agree with me that anytime is tea time now, they will tell you that we are sitting on the edge of political survival and Ancyl need more young people who will revive it and advertise it to the frustrated young people. The role that is being played by Ronald Lamola is doing Anc a great favor, we are not uniting against Opposition parties only but also against internal forces that seek to use this little hard gained democracy for their own benefit. Conducting Anc/Ancyl Public lectures is no longer simple like back there, young people can stone you and insults you because they are tired of empty promises but we still have young people who are still having a vision to encourage young people about the battle for Economic freedom. Lets learn to give credit where it matters and forget political differences for a moment. Young people have promised a massive support behind the organization through those Public lectures. It is for this reason that we say Economic Freedom Public lectures by Ronald Lamola is indeed rebuilding Ancyl and benefiting the ruling government as well.
